Vishal Bharadwaj’s Kaminey has been quite a hit and has got four star ratings by most publications. Kaminey has some of the most awesome Dhan te Nan tracks. All of us have been grooving to Kaminey’s dhan te nan which is sung by Sukhwinder Singh and Vishal Dadlani and no wonder the music is superbly fantastic. The music is composed by Vishal Bhardwaj who is the director of the film as well. And the lyrics are penned by Gulzar. Another song that refuses to get off my mouth is Raat Ke Dhai Baje sung by Suresh Wadkar, Rekha Bhardwaj, Sunidhi Chauhan, Kunal Ganjawala and Earl E D. The song has quite an earthy raw feel to it. I even love Pehli Baar Mohabbat by Mohit Chauhan which is quite a romantic number. Other songs include Fatak sung by Sukhwinder Singh and Kailash Kher, Go Charlie Go Theme song. Dhan te Nan and Raat ke dhai baje remixes are also well done. Raat ke dhai baje is what I am downloading now, what about you?
The music of Teree Sang is given by newcomers Sachin and Jigar. The lyrics are given by Sameer. And there are a couple of guest songs each by Anu Malik and Bappi Lahiri as well. Songs of Sachin-Jigar must be heard atleast once because they are impressive. Opening song ‘I will be there for you’ is fantastic and singers Clinton and Dominique Cerejo come together for this lovely romantic youthful number. One song that has swept away everyone is ‘Morey Saiyan’, which is an absolute killer however, the song doesn’t feature a remix version and I think we all would have quite liked it had it been there! Another song ‘Maula Mila De’ keeps the rock mood on with the western arrangements that it has. So go ahead and enjoy these songs!
